At the Parishes of St. Maria Goretti & The Blessed Sacrament, we work to bring the love of Christ to the people of Ribbleton, and to Preston as a whole.
As we mourn the passing of Pope Francis, the 266th successor of St. Peter, we reflect on the promise made by Christ in John 14:2-4: "In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also."
We thank You, Lord, for the gift of Pope Francis. We ask You to send us a new pope to humbly wear the shoes of the Fisherman.

St Maria Goretti's is now home to the Polish Mission in Preston, with services in English and Polish.
